A Vision Born from Local Experience
At Caremore Support Services, our story begins with Roy Budaraju, a practising pharmacist who recognised a critical gap in the Whitsundays' NDIS services. Through his extensive healthcare experience in regional Queensland, Roy observed firsthand the challenges faced by community members who required complex care support but lacked access to qualified nursing services.
"As a local pharmacist serving the Whitsunday community, I witnessed families struggling to access comprehensive care for their loved ones," says Roy. "The absence of dedicated nurse-supported NDIS services was causing significant stress for participants and their families, often forcing them to travel long distances for essential care or compromise on the level of support they received."
